Tuition and Financial Aid Information
Since
the beginning of Central Michigan University's Doctorate of Audiology
Program all Au.D students have received at a minimum a partial graduate assistantship during
their first year. As part of this award these students also receive
in-state tuition for all four years.

curriculum totals approximately 115 credits hours for the four year program.

Keith
L. Maxwell Scholarship
for graduate students |
|
Established in 1984 by an estate gift of Ellen Mercer Clark Maxwell in
memory of her husband, Dr. Keith L. Maxwell, who was a speech-language
pathology professor in the Department of Communication Disorders. To be
eligible for this scholarship a student must be full-time status, with a
minimum GPA of 3.00. Applications are available through the CDO
Department, 441 Moore Hall. |

Dean and Betty L. Eckersley Audiology Scholarship
for Audiology graduate students |
|
Established in 1996 as a renewable scholarship for a graduate status
audiology student within the Department of Communication Disorders who
earned a minimum GPA of 3.5 as a senior with financial need as determined
by CMU. Preference is given to students from Isabella County, other
counties of Michigan, and transfer students from Mid-Michigan Community
College who were recipients of the J. Dean and Betty L Eckersley
Scholarship. Applications are available through the CDO Audiology
Division, Health Professions Building 1183. |

Nicholas
P. Redfield Memorial Scholarship
for third-year Audiology graduate students |
|
Established in 1998 by colleagues in memory of Dr. Redfield for a
third-year Au.D. doctoral student who demonstrates a
"client-centered" approach in clinical performance. Volunteer
works and efforts to better the audiology program at CMU will also be
considered in selecting a candidate for this award. Aplications made be
made through the CDO Audiology Division, Health Professions Building 1183. |
