Research Interests:
Lipid Metabolism - influence of exercise on changes in lipids, specifically HDL-C ("the good guys"). Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) Risk Factors in Children, with an emphasis on physical activity and nutrition. Influence of Resistance Training on Specific Skeletal Muscle Genes (i.e., what skeletal muscle genes are associated with changes in skeletal muscle size and strength).
