Enrichment Courses
The following courses are offered as enrichment courses that might enhance your performance in the physician assistant program curriculum. Completion of these courses is NOT necessary to be considered for admission into the program and will not affect your admission status in any way:

Community Health (HPR 317)
Introduction to public health, and services provided to citizens and educators by official and voluntary health agencies.

Abnormal Psychology (PSY 250)
Nature, causes and treatment of mental disorders.

College Algebra (MTH 107)
Complex numbers, introduction to functions, zeros, graphing, linear functions, quadratic functions, intersections of graphs, interpreting graphs, inequalities, polynomial and rational functions, algebra of functions.

Genetics (BIO 326)
The principles of heredity dealing with the location, transmission, structure and function of genes and the results of modern genetic techniques.

- Or -
Human Genetics (BIO 315)
Inheritance in man, including genetic mechanisms, human populations, medical syndromes, eugenics, and genetic counseling.
